(D2, EN) Autograph hunting

The Soshi had made the artificial islands a beautiful tourist trap. Beaches, shops, and many attractions were perched on this land wrested from the waves to wrest coins from tourists pockets. And like an obsidian dagger thrust into the beating heart of Daikoku stood the Corporate Headquarters of the Shadeworks Combine. One had to wonder what sort of deals had to have happened in the past to allow it there. There had likely been a whole shadow war during it's construction, with various undercover workers bugging and debugging the place.

But that was the past, now it stood here, as tall as local regulations would allow so it didn't sink back into the waves, it's colors dark and it's lines sleek. The only bits of colors being the advertisements for Shadeworks products, and Susumu Yakumo: Now on World of Dreams! Then again, she WAS a product of the Spider clan, even if she had secured her Imperial access.

Fortunately, neither the Spider nor the Scorpion particular believed in Akodo's declaration that a samurai should go to bed early, so the office was functional 24/7, though it was less busy typically during the small hours. It also wasn't surrounded by Scorpion authorities....at least not the visible kind. The Spider Clan's own security force? Oh those were definitely there.

Still, Hato held her newly acquired poster of Susumu Yakumo close, along with a pack of holoslates as she drifted on the fringes of those people heading one way or the other. Her destination was still off in the future a ways, but she had her eyes on it.
