"Never suggested they couldn't," she said, ease to her tone as she relaxes slightly. Even a relaxed Koyuki however carried that strength of presence that was just a tad daunting. It was something to marvel at, if one held the woman in high regard.

"Of that I am certain, but you carry yourself a certain way Kazumi-san. You hide the darkness of your past well most days. I find it vexing but, I cannot judge it. Still, action is different than much of the horrible things you mentioned. Poisoning is not something I would ever think to condone for even my worst enemy," she says, and still holds no judgement to her tone. Like she was simply laying down the facts.

"Grief can make the darkest parts of us darker." They explained briefly lips a little thinner as they were compressed in thought "I do not hide it Koyuki-san. It..is a smaller part of me than it was. I guess I do not consider it hiding it is simply not something I wear openly as it does not serve a purpose in my life most of the time. I do not actively repress it I suppose, it came out when I spoke to you because we ventured where it lives, in the painful places, places I strive to not dwell." Kazumi tried to explain uncertainty in their voice as they did so maybe piecing things together for the first time themselves.

"You said you find it vexing, do you wish I were more outwardly brooding or violent?"

"We have escaped my central point," she notes. Taking tat moment to just let the thought air out. Adding, a touch more simply, "No, Kazumi-san. I simply find it vexing. I have not given the reason as to why much thought, and I do not have the time to even if I wanted to."
