It was a normal enough day, Hitoko rising as she usually did and quietly making her way to the temple for a humble meal and a bit of affirmation - for herself and others. She liked to use the excuse that she was working, gathering information from sources both likely and not, but she often came away from these mornings or other meal times with nothing profitable to show for her time. Yet she smiled as she ate, chatted, even felt a bit like part of the team. It wasn't the sort of thing Hitoko got to feel elsewhere, which made it strange and positive, no matter how many reasons one might find to look down on the participants in the temple's detox program.

Oh this is really good goss--Is that Soryu-kun? Back again... Good Kami. Shaking her head, Hitoko moved over to sit with an old acquaintance - and that hot piece of intel just slipped from her mind.
