(D1, EM) Post-Festival Temple Cleaning (Open)

[Yogo Ono]

Finishing with her prayers, Tenma turned to the sound of someone approaching. Her eyes widened a little as she recognize the man who stood there.

"Yogo Ono-san? ...if I'm not mistaken, you've gotten taller. I suppose that's to be expected. Finding you here? That's more than unexpected. A crowded, technologically connected world like this."

She crossed her arms under her chest, staring at Ono with a stern but curious look.

He bowed. She might be the best friend of his long-dead brother, but she was also a magistrate.

"Bayushi-sama, you honor this unworthy soul more than it deserves. Not only you remember my name, but my peculiarities too. Were you not married already, my appearance would have been much more attractive than this." He bowed with a smile.

"I hate it, almost as much as a certain buttplug." He said and laughed.

Tenma gave a small smirk, but shook her head.

"I never imagined you, of all people, calling me Bayushi-sama. And I take it you heard about the wedding from your family then? Fortunes know it was a small affair, all I could plan really..."

Lifting her head, she looked back at the ronin with Hashinako before looking back at Ono, "Still, that's about what I expected you'd say. What brings you here then, if I may be so bold? The planet that is, not the temple."

She hasn't heard? So she can't be here to take him in. That's a relief.

"No, I actually keep an eye on what you are up to. Jun, he pointed at his data archievist, is probably one of your fans by now." He corrected.

"And by the way, this little monster is Tsuko-san." He added and introduced his cat.

"I expected a Moto to be big and thick...but I guess you like small one." He joked.

Lifting her head, she looked back at the ronin with Hashinako before looking back at Ono, "Still, that's about what I expected you'd say. What brings you here then, if I may be so bold? The planet that is, not the temple."

"Seriously I just followed my Lord in his advancement, I think. You know how things can be." He said seriously.

"I mean since then I learned that I have a daughter, who is famous and talented and hates me, but that couldn't be it. Could it?"

she looked back at the ronin with Hashinako before looking back at Ono

"Do you want me to introduce you? Jun likes the ronin, which means that the ronin might be worth some job. The other one is a little stuck up, but otherwise decent."

"The ronin? That would be helpful I think. No matter their position, they're useful people to know. As to Shosuro Hashinako-san, we have met, briefly. I did not get a bad impression from her myself, though I'm a bit more forgiving than most in that regard I think." A soft smirk, "I'd never have tolerated you as a kid otherwise, neh? You were quite the hothead as a teenager. As to my husband? He's more than a handful in that regard. Wild spirit of horseriders past and all that."

"It would be my honor, Lady Bayushi." He said and bowed. He approached Haito and motioned to him to follow him. He waited to see if the ronin followed and once he did, he returned to Tenma.

"Bayushi-sama allow me to present to you Haito-san. He is another wave in the cornucopia of the oceans of space." He announced him.

"Haito-san, you are blessed with the honor of being in the presence of Lady Tenma, a magistrate of my clan. She would like to discuss with you possible job opportunities, but will not sully her honor. Anything unseemly will be told to me, the rest she can hear."

Hato bowed apologetically to the Scorpion actress who had taken a few moments to commune with her ancestors and followed after the Yogo. when the Scorpion told you to follow, you did.

She bowed deeply to the magistrate.

"This one is honored to be introduced to Lady Scorpion and to hear her words." she offered deferentially.

Tenma gave a slight inclination of her head to Hato in acknowledgement and greeting, "Good morning, Hato-san. I hope we didn't interrupt anything between yourself and Shosuro Hashinako-san?"

If Lady Shosuro is discomforted by this one's withdrawal during her meditation, this one will accept the consequences of such. "I was more concerned that Shosuro-san had completed her business. But it looks like there are no worries there, and I've no intention of disturbing her."

She looked back to Hato.

"What brings a ronin to the Temple to Shosuro, of all places?"

Tenma decided to just be to the point there; This Hato was the lone non-Scorpion non-monk in the vicinity, so there was hardly a reason to be too circumspect.

Tenma glanced over at Hashinako, who seemed to be lost in prayer. Maybe meditation or thought, but the details hardly mattered.

Tenma decided to just be to the point there; This Hato was the lone non-Scorpion non-monk in the vicinity, so there was hardly a reason to be too circumspect.

A small shrug.

"A wolf needs a place to sleep and food to eat. The monks of the temple are kind enough to provide such to those in need." she answered simply, and unashamedly.

Having no lord meant there wasn't even a cozy little apartment for her, nor any guaranteed meals nor new clothes. It didn't take a magistrate to put together the thin frame and the tattered clothes to come up with an answer.

"This one could stay at the Shrine of Passion instead....but this one does not need their services, nor particularly trusts the promises of their affiliated samurai." she added on.
