[D9 LA] Pincers and Tea

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi had sent a message to their clanmate to see if they wanted to meet at the Cafe to talk. Much had happened and Kazumi had seen less and less chatter from their other allies.

Kazumi walked into the Cafe sporting a light flowing shirt in Scorpion red and some black casual form fitting pants. They had make up around their eyes that matched black directly around with red that flared out around that in a wing effect.

As they say they noticed Debris walk up to them happily, rubbing against their leg and the Scorpion looked down smiling at the slender cat giving her a brief scratch behind the ear.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Senshuken arrives, as well. The Bayushi is dressed in a pair of black baggy jeans with ree suspenders, a black T shirt, red sneakers and red mask. She waves to the Soshi and approaches.

"Hey, Soshi san." She bows. "How are you doing?"

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi stands smoothly as she approaches bowing to their fellow Scorpion "Good afternoon Bayushi-sama, I've been doing pretty well all things considered, how about you? Still living life in the fast lane?" They asked with a touch of amuesment as they waited for Senshuken to sit first before resuming their seat.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

The Bayushi takes her seat and grins behind her mask. "I'm trying in trying times. I'm glad that the stomach flu our fellow clanmates got left you untouched. It's gonna be just you and me for the remaining court, it seems."

[Soshi Kazumi]

"Well I was always careful about sharing germs." They said as they resumed sitting.

"I wish I could be more help but I seem to be blundering lately. I have turned up little at the recent social gatherings, not sure where my heads been."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Your assistance is still more than noticed. There was also the minor issue with the missing ronin in which you were instrumental." She points out and she stops speaking as the waiter approaches.

The Bayushi orders an energy drink and smiles only to resume speaking once they are alone again." Do you happen to know another ronin going by the name Yurei? I hired her for a job which went pretty well so I assigned a second one to her, as well. Her services are a bit pricey, but I believe that she will be successful once again. Information seems to be the coin of the season."

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi nodded they had not really been looking for praise but they supposed it was nice either way. Kazumi ordered some tea that was on the stronger side.

Their attention centered back on Senshuken as they mentioned Yurei "Oh yes Yurei is a close friend. I am glad she has been serving us well, She is rather skilled." Kazumi smirked a little amused by hearing how expensive she is "Though now that I know she's charging expensive fees maybe I can get her to pay for lunch one of these days." They said with a chuckle.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Yes, you do that. I had her buy me a drink the other day." She admits and chuckles lightly.

"What do you think of the court season so far, Soshi san? We are nearly done here and as a local your insight is valuable. We faced many difficulties, especially with this flu hitting so many members of our delegation, but we did okay-ish, I think, did we not?"

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi nodded "Yes I think we did pretty well all things considered. We gained a good amount of information I believe but, well, we already know so much that it would have been difficult to discover any big revelations." The Scorpion Intelligence network was easily one of the finest in the Empire second only to maybe the Imperials.

"More importantly did you have fun Bayushi-sama? So many visitors can make for....exciting opportunities." Their look was slightly mischievous.
