[D7 EA KFC] Spicy Foods and New Faces

[Soshi Kazumi]

(Expecting)

Kazumi had the whole Sole Survivor thing they had signed up for later and figured it was a good time to fuel up before what was sure to be a bit of strenuous activity.

Going through the mall Kochako's sounded like the move, Kazumi didn't eat a ton of it but it was a nice treat now and again.

They walked into the eatery hands in the pockets of their syntheticleather jacket as they scanned the immediate area before heading to the front to order.

[Ide Yamako]

Yamako strode towards the line at the KFC, deciding she wanted to try this food that was new to her. It smelled delicious if nothing else. She bowed carefully to the clansman ahead of her when he looked around.

[Soshi Kazumi]

They bow caught their attention and Kazumi turned to look at the small Unicorn and returned the bow "Good afternoon Unicorn-sama, I hope the day has been treating you well." The mask hid any expression of lips but the eyes showed a welcoming friendliness in their gaze.

[Ide Yamako]

She nodded as well. “Indeed Scorpion-Sama, it has served me quite well, but I am curious to try this concoction. Have you ever had it?”

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi nodded "Hai, it is quite good if you like fried chicken. I'd be surprised if there was a resident of the World of Dreams that hasn't had it."

"And following that line of logic I'm going to assume you're a visitor to the city?"

[Ide Yamako]

She nods. "Yes, I've only been here a few days. But the smell permeates the mall and I had to see what made everyone salivate so. Do you come here often, as someone I am guessing lives here?"

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi shook their head "No not so often, you've caught me at a rare indulgence actually." The eyes glittered with humor at Yamako "It's very tasty but I'd imagine not very good for one to eat frequently if they wish to maintain a healthy lifestyle."

"I've been rude though, my name is Soshi Kazumi life long resident of World of Dreams and occasional consumer of fried chicken." Kazumi gave her a bow in introduction.

[Ide Yamako]

She chuckled at him. “Well, Then I appear to have come to the right place. Today seemed like the right day for a bit of indulgence.” She bows in return. “Ide Yamako, visitor to the world of dreams and long time lover of new foods.”

[Soshi Kazumi]

"Well met Ide-sama. I assume you, like so many others, are visiting for the Winter Court?" While visitors were frequent and varied during a particular event like Court it was a good guess for any, especially the well spoken.

[Ide Yamako]

She nodded. "Yes, though it is my first time on your world. I have found it quite intriguing and beautiful. The Illusion Garden in particular was quite striking."

The line moved. "And I am sure that everyone says so, because it is clearly a wonder, but we must move to more pressing matters. As in, what should I order?" She said with a grin.

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi smiled behind the mask again, they were starting to like this Unicorn "Well there's chicken, and more chicken but I usually recommend the chicken, it's what they're known for." Kazumi winked at the awful joke

"But seriously fried chicken is the name of the game here, they serve grilled options for people trying to be healthy but that just seems like a bit of a waste neh?" They said raising an eyebrow "the rest comes down to spice tolerance Ide-sama. Are you a fan of spicy food? Or more of a novice with it?"

[Ide Yamako]

She laughed, enjoying the lighter side of this Scorpion. "Its just beside the point trying to be healthy. And I love spice as long as its not trying to burn off my eyebrows."

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi nodded deliberating for a moment "You may enjoy the Sweet Soshi sauce then, as the name states its got this sweet but savory flavor but also has a good bit of bite to it. There is the Fire Kami Hot sauce but that is more the eyebrow burning variety. Bayushi BBQ is more on the mild side with some sweet and smokey flavor to it."

Kazumi chuckled as they turned back from the menu "They may only do one kind of food but they've figured out a lot of ways to do it."

[Ide Yamako]

She looks pensive for a moment. "Hmm, perhaps I can do a mix and match and try both of those sauces. I think I will avoid the Fire Kami, I don't have access to my usual beautician while I am here."

She looks over at him. "Would you like to join me for lunch? Company is always a pleasure."

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi smiled though Yamako will only be able to see it in the eyes "certainly Ide-sama only thing better than good food is good food with good company." They said in a somewhat chipper tone.

[Ide Yamako]

She nodded back and waved a hand at him to precede her as they had come to the front of the line for ordering.

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi went forward and ordered a basket of the Soshi Sweet chicken and some rice "I'll secure us a table Ide-sama." They said with a shallow bow as they took their order number and moved into the seating area of the restaurant and finding a suitable table.

[Ide Yamako]

She nodded and stepped up to order, getting a mix and match with the two he had suggested and some rice as well in case it was too spicy. She took her number and waited, seeing the Soshi find them a lovely spot.

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi waved the Ide to the table it wasn't too far away from the front of the store but near a window that looked out to the city and press of people in the streets.

Assuming Yamako came to the table Kazumi would motion for her to join "just put your number on the table and they will bring the chicken out shortly Ide-sama." The said in a light friendly tone

[Ide Yamako]

She had followed him, being slightly confused by the system. "Ahh. Good, I am glad to be here with a local. I was thinking I would have to wait but then no one else was waiting."

She places the number on the table and sits opposite him. "So what other fine wonders exist that a local might know more of? Beyond amazing chicken, of course."
