Hearing Yakumo shriek, Rei smiled and came over to join her.

"Here, like this." He said, giving her a warm smile. Drawing close enough to almost touch, his presence reassuring, unafraid. Working together, they were able to finish it off quickly.

"Ooooh... that makes sense!" She calmed down a bit now. It seemed like things were going better for a moment now.

Yakumo saw that several lights were alit over the door now.

"Hey, maybe we can open it," THUMP, "NOW!!!"

The holographic katana winked out at the same time as the oni, leading Hinata to make three or four empty handed lame slaps through the air. Anyone close could see he'd had his eyes closed at the time.

"Oh!"

Then the clunks and shrieks and all pervading cold got to him and he rushed to the door, stuck his hands into the mechanisms and proved that small and agile is superior!!!

"This goes here. Twist that. Pull that. Arggh something touched my neck!!! Faster!!! FASTER!!! There, that!!! No not that way, this way!!!"

His running commentary was punctuated by many clunks and thuds in the door mechanism before . . . .

The last bolt withdrew and the door swung open . . .

"OH YES!!!!!!"

Stumbling out of the room with some dramatic screaming of the supposed-Iuchiban behind them, and some dramatic screaming from the songstress, Yakumo gasped for air as the tomb-doors closed shut behind them.

Then broke into a laughter as fear subsided into comedy. "Oh... oh my Kami. Holy..." she almost said the name of someone she wasn't supposed to, but stopped herself with some more laughter. "That was exciting! Let's go again!"

[Asahina Hinata]

She was soon followed by the, very eager to be out of a locked room . . . honestly not petrified by almost thinking it was all real.

"Oh . . . I hope I don't have to remember that . . . "

Walking at a leisurely pace, Rei also left the room. To stare at Hinata, clearly agog.

After a few seconds, he shook his head. "Wow, Asahina-san. How did you do that?" He asked. That lock had looked so complex, and Hinata had just... derped his way through it to victory somehow. "Really impressive." Rei added honestly.

Hinata turned to face Rei and immediately shifted to the right so he didn't have to look through the door back into the 'Tomb'.

"Oh I just . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "

He vaguely mimed twisting, turning and pushing things with his hands.

" . . . . . . . . . . I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID!!!!!!! It just opened!"

[Susumu Yakumo]

"If I didn't know any better, Hina-Hina, I'd say you're a genius," Yakumo chuckled. Of course, she knew better so it had to be pure dumb luck, right? Right??

She stretched her shoulders and back a few times, looking like she was ready to go again! "Ooof! I want cake and bubble tea now. Who else wants some?"

[Asahina Hinata]

"There's bubble tea and cake?????"

Tomb forgotten. It never happened.

[Usagi Rei]

Rei smiled, just a little. "Sure. Why not."

Last night, his wife suddenly reappeared with some sort of horrible thing following her, severe amnesia, and some sort of dark corruption. Tonight, a complicated puzzle was mostly solved by Hinata. Truly, life was strange.

[Kuni Koyuki]

Toying with the cigarette she'd stolen from Rei, and yet had in her hands unlit. Koyuki was watching the three of them from nearer the entrance. Just sort of lingering behind in a quiet contemplation of this moment that brought them all together. There was a fondness for it that set her mind on something, on what needed to be said.

For now though, she steps up when the call for bubble tea and cake was made she simply raises a hand as she starts walking through and past the group out away from the escape room. "Bubble Tea," she announces and starts to move to lead the way.
