Like sometimes a choice is presented to you and you don't know why you make the choice you did... have you ever gotten that feeling?"

Sakura chuckled. "I was offered fealty to a Minor Clan. I am very glad for the opportunity, but perhaps, some ronin would think we have no choice in the matter. Others might stringently disagree."

She stopped mid-swing. "I..think I do. Once, I accepted a strange girl's request for a roommate. I was fine with the Temples up until then, could take care of myself, and it was a couple of years after my father's passing. I didn't need to expose myself to the strange new circumstance." She smiled. "But I did, and I have been richer for it."

Sakura nodded. "I think I understand." she smiled. "As a ronin...you know it was strange. Sometimes, choices were a luxury. Other times, we had a deep ocean of choices in front of us how to proceed." She fell silent, pensieve.

"Perhaps if I would not have accepted the gift of Family, something else might have come along. Or might have not. I guess...I am content with who I am now. And glad."

Sakura beamed. "That is a beautiful way of thinking about it Taiguno-san. That is why I'm here, I think. I know the basics of kenjutsu, but never put much effort into it, instead of learning skills that would allow me to bypass the need for it. But now, as I joined the Hotaru, I felt the need to improve myself, so I can come to the aid of my clansmen if it ever happens."
