Kazumi listened and nodded "I understand completely Yurei." Close as they were and mask not obstructing their expressions she would see the soft smile on Kazumi's lips.

Kazumi reached a hand up and cradled her face gently their thumb running across her cheek softly "You can have as much time as you need. We both know I was trained to be patient."

"In the end all I really care about is that you are happy." Their say letting the hand drop away "and I'm here for you however you'll have me."

"Don't think they trained you be so fundamentally decent. Wonder where that came from."
She smiles at the touch and lightly pokes them in the chest.

"We'll figure it out, bunch of us smart samurai. Now, I better scram before someone notices you spending all this time with a ronin who runs around kicking people."

Kazumi chuckles "I wouldn't say all that really, I've got my rough edges like everyone else." Kazumi said smiling but there was Sincerity there

"Well real quick." They paused "maybe I could take you out sometime? Like a proper date? If thats not too much or too fast or anything of course."

"Of course you can take me out on a proper date. Tell me where and when and I'll be there."

"Unless it's during a mealtime, then it has to be somewhere with food, and then it would be a very expensive date."

Kazumi laughed too as they retrieved their mask and hooked it back on their face the lights flickering on "Well luckily I have some spare koku lying around. How could I take you out on a date without doing your favorite activity?" They teased, the tension indeed broken and a more normal comfortablness settling between them.

"Let's get out of here and get a snack? My treat." They said as they gathered up their gym bag.

"There's this new bakery on 46th street I've been meaning to try."
Making her eyes very big and grinning over her shoulder, the ronin leads the way out.
