Sakura entered the temple, still clad in some of her own older clothes. She got some sideeye, but she didn't care. Going to one of the smaller alcoves, she knelt and prayed in thanks.

"Father, thanks to your teachings on the sand and the field, I made a friend yesterday, and got invited by the Lord Magistrate." Such a strange turn of events. "Arigatou for your guidance."

Setsu didn't know of any ancestor of his own that came from the Scorpion Clan. Yet, events from yesterday made him actually curious, as such if there was... and he also wanted to stalk on other people's lineage. He decided to do some actual academical research and try finding any links from the Temple's database to his line. He didn't jack in any of his own machinery to get the info, expecting for it to be rather public.

The terminal was located into one of the smaller alcoves, and as someone else enters it to pray, he tries to act inconspicuous but utterly fails to do so.

He actually coughs, trying to mask any hidden intention –– in his mind –– to hack the system.

After praying, Sakura glanced towards a strange coughing sound - one benefit of Scorpion and masks were less chance of contagion - and saw...was that the Kaiu from the rumors? So many rumors.

"Konnichiwa." She greeted in a whisper, giving a bow.

"Ohayou!" He remarks, as it is still morning, and then bows, "With this pouring rain outside it does look like it is almost evening, no?"

"It surely does. I was training before and felt utter depleted. Always good to find some inspiration to go forward with the Ancestors." He mentions, looking like he's pious, even if he's not. He was actually just getting information.

"Definitely. I am more into the physical and mental preparation before I start a new kata. Kind of a very complicated path." He rubs his chin and takes a few steps closer to check the kanji. Then, asks, "Which kind of school you have been trained?"

With a bow, he presents himself, "I am Kaiu Setsu. KHII's Chief Engineer. Glad to meet a fellow bushi."

Kaiu Engineering is kind of considered bushi. Right?

He opens up a proud and awkward smirk as Setsu's chest gets suddenly inflated to reply, "Well." There's a dramatic pause, and he completes, "The path of the Berserker is my path of choice. Difficult, I know. But, what is life without a good challenge."

"Perhaps you could show me some of your kata moves some day?" He releases the hook.

Busted, he nods and de-inflates. Yet Setsu finds s turnaround connection, "Hotaru-san is correct. Interestingly, that's because we have something in common, I am also pretty much a beginner in reaching for that path."

It takes some time for his grin to be undone as the silence sinks into his brain as a sign that he over reached. A cough and he adds, "T-thank you, Hotaru-san. Likewise compliments to you. Gambatte."

Trying to find some topic of interest not to lose yet another potential friend due his awkwardness, he asks right away, "So you have Scorpion ancestors: who were they?"
