Welp. She played her hand as best she could.

"Sure...though if someone steals the communicator ID-s of several prominent celebrities from my communicator, I will take this up with the authorities! I even had dinner with the Lord Magistrate the other day." She handed off her communicator, her player out of ideas.

At this point, it was probably enough for Kotone to suggest that Sakura merely stay at home and not take the tour if she was going to be this fussy about it. However, she kept on smiling and took the communicator, putting it in a compartment at the desk that had a glowing lock button. "Not to worry, Hotaru-san. As you see, it's now kept safely at the front desk and will unlock with my touch. All of your information and property are safely secured, unless they find some way to take this desk and that is quite doubtful."

It's not like her old model communicator was worth much anyway.

"This way," she said with a casual gesture as she guided Sakura inside. "Please stay with me at all times, I wouldn't want you to go missing around here."

The doors on the other side of the desk would slide to allow them inside with Kotone's biometrics. Sakura would be greeted to a rather bright open-concept office. The lighting is tuned to closely match that of daylight and the walls are adorned with screens that showed woodland scenery as 'windows'. There was even the occasional plant and holograph tree that help dress up the theme more, the subtle ambiance of nature played in the background. It seemed the rooms of the office were divided by glass walls, the more public ones were clear and the private ones have taken a black shade for privacy. There were many people about, various people on their terminals as they worked on future designs and others are a bit run-of-the-mill office administration tasks.

Sakura let out the appropriate noise of 'oooh' and 'aaaaah'.

"This is so cool!" She kept her eyes open for anything interesting, but would otherwise follow Kotone's lead.

There was a corporate area where Sakura would be taken, showing various products made after their v-personalities. It seemed like the lobby and the office was already that theme but this one had several displays of products, almost looking like a gift store without a check-out counter. There were plushies, T-shirts, banners, suspiciously human-sized pillows, and media discs of their performances were some of the items on display. "Feel free to take some back to Kitsune-sama, if you wish. We ask that you don't get too carried away and take more than 3 items, please."

Eventually, Sakura would be shown to what looked like a small theatre with several rows of seats and what looked like a recording studio on stage. There was a large holo screen that was currently playing the steam that Nyoko was in at the moment, who was not shy about accentuating her bounciness. "And here this is where Kitsune-sama would be meeting Nari-chan, if he's able to grace us with his presence. He can join in on the stream live. Was there a particular topic, activity, or maybe game he'd like to play with Nari-chan?"

From the corner of Sakura's eye, she's could see another room down the hall with black doors. It wasn't labelled but there was a sign above that said "LIVE".

Sakura took a t-shirt, a media disc and a banner. "Thank youuu."

She glanced at the direction of setup. "I see....I think anything interactive where the Detective can take part. Also, his heart is set on animal preservation as a topic, so that could be an angle?"

She tried discreetly angling towards the door with Live on it.

"...Well, perhaps Nari-chan and Kitsune-sama would like to play a survival game together? Those seem to be a hit with her audience, especially when she's not particularly good at surviving in the wilderness for being a kitsune...They seem to find that adorable! I'm sure Kitsune-sama has much he could teach her in that regard?" Kotone offered an idea. "Of course, they could talk about animal preservation during their play?"

Kotone gave a glance toward the door. "And that's where the recording happens. Of course, being from the animal realm, our personalities don't take too kindly to visitors. After all, they might just disappear back into their realm when gazed at by the mortal eye. I'm sure Hotaru-san might have taken part in Realm Expo?"

She looked at the woman straightfaced. "Really, Bayushi-sama? They seem to be fine for having hundreds of mortal eyes on screen. I'm sorr,y but for this to work, I have to verify that my client and close friend is not going to be bamboozled, or put into an uncomfortable position. You do know what idols do when they are put in uncomfortable positions? They suck." She started striding forward to the door with a determined demeanor.

"Absolutely, Hotaru-san!" She said with a bright and cheery smile. "Of course, that would be entirely up to my superior and her superior, considering we need to see if we can fit that in our schedules. Seeing as Chikushudo House is an aspect of the Shosuro News and Entertainment organization, we'll have to see if that message aligns without. I'm sure you'll inform Kitsune-sama to say nothing unbecoming or too opinionated. After all, if he is to enjoy any sort of good press while being hosted by the Scorpion Clan, he shouldn't provoke any outward thoughts. It would be very unfortunate if he were to fall into obscurity due to his image being tarnished in any such way. Do you understand....HEY! WAIT!"

She quickly trotted after her to stop her from going to that door, finding a way to stand in front of her. "You are not allowed to go in there! I'm afraid this tour is over!"

Sakura stood steadfastly in front of Kotone.

"Bayushi-sama...." she let out a breath. "I am going in there. Something is suspicious here, even moreso than usual for a Scorpion holding on this planet. Do not threatene me about getting accidentally disappeared again, I've lived my whole life under the shadow of death or worse any day, and really, it's trite. Besides, if that happens, your superior is going to get a message from her superior about why are the current incoming ore imports getting cut in half, and what does that have to do with you."

She pointed a finger at the maskless Bayushi. "So, I come here to give YOU an opportunity. Or is being a receptionist is what you'd like to do until you retire to a monastery and do what? Be a receptionist there? Your clan values imitative, and come on, take it! You can think of it as our own little scheme, if you'd like. Just one peek."

Bayushi Kotone

"Look," she said as she took a step back from her and there was a lot of tension in her eyes, glaring daggers at her. "I don't know what you're trying to do Hotaru-san but Nari-chan is not in there. They are streaming Nyoko-chan in there and nobody wishes to be disturbed. I'm going to give you the chance to leave here peaceful or you can be escorted from the kyuden forcefully and never allowed back."

"Then, tell me, where IS Nari-chan. I mean...what, you just replaced her with aNOTHEr random Kitsune? Is that how people are treated over here?" She glared daggers back.

"As I said, she had to cancel for today. It's something that occasionally happens here. I don't know why you're so concerned, Hotaru-san. She'll be back eventually. However, you're leaving now. This tour is over." She said matter with a tense tone.

"May I get an escort? Hotaru-san will be leaving peacefully now. She needs to be taken out." she called out to the offices proper to get someone's attention.

[Hotaru Sakura]

Sakura bowed deeply.

"Gomenasai, my concern got to my head. Thank you for your help Bayushi-sama. May I bring Kitsune-sama to visit and discuss options two days from now?"

She willingly went with the officer.

"Of course..." she said carefully on the matter, perhaps feeling bad for kicking her out or being unable to find a good enough excuse to not caught another situation. "Please do return only if you have Kitsune-sama with you. That was the reason for your visit, remember? We wouldn't want to have another rerun of the same tour. Until then, have a good day, Hotaru-san."

And with that, Sakura was taken out by the Scorpion.
