[Bayushi Mineichi]

"Yes." Mineichi admitted, sorrow flickering in his eyes for a moment. "But please don't jump into hasty conclusions. I'm just an old sentimental man." he waved his hand as if he was trying to dispel an obvious conclusion one might draw. Just in case. "Political at first, yes. But well, sometimes the Fortunes are kind to you. We got along really well. Well, after some awkward situations, but... yeah. I did consider myself lucky."

He did not shy away from her touch, instead softly leaning into her hand. "No, I'll tell you if you ask something I cannot answer." Mineichi reassured her. "We all have secrets after all." he added, sighing again. "You too, I am sure. Maybe we were lovers in previous lives? Or maybe we just get along? Maybe we are both lonely souls in the universe?" It seemed that the lord magistrate had no answers. "Either way, I don't really mind."

Oh you have no idea, she couldn't help but to think when he said that she likely had secrets too.

"Lonely souls... or carry with us the souls of those we grieve for and have lost?" she suggested, keeping the tone tender as she dared to share such a thought with him. "Not that I lost a love like you did, but..." Yakumo fell silent for a moment, taking a deep breath as they seemed to be opening up to eachother. "My mother died giving birth to me, and while it might sound strange to say it, I sometimes feel like she has still been there with me."

"I do hope that the souls we grieve for have found a new life, or are waiting for rebirth." Mineichi mused, sighing softly. "Though, I think I know what you mean. A person might be dead, but their idea still lives as long as we remember them, yes?" he asked, pressing his forehead against hers. "Mhmhm. So your father raised you then?" Mineichi murmured, sounding a little curious. Such an event would undoubtedly impact someone, one way or another. "Or some other relative?"

[Susumu Yakumo]

"My uncle," she clarified, "father passed away too." Which wasn't untrue, but it wasn't why her uncle had raised her.

Yakumo lingered for a bit there, forehead against forehead. "Sometimes it feels more than just an idea though. Like... I mentioned before? That feeling that there's someone there, when you're alone? I... suppose I wasn't quite truthful then the first time I brought it up, because I do sometimes feel like someone is there. Maybe watching over me, or pushing me towards what I should do. Or what she thinks I should do, if it is my mother's spirit."

"Oh. I am sorry." he muttered, wrapping his arm around her and giving her small, if more shapely body a firm squeeze. "That had to be awkward." Mineichi's uncle had been rarely around, ostensibly working for the security forces. A quiet, small man that seemed to always know what you were up to. "Mhmhm. Really now?" Mineichi asked, more than a little curious. "You feel like someone is guiding you then?"

"Mm, it's ok. Family is what you make it, and all that." In some weird twisted sense. Still Yakumo accepted the embrace, seeming fine with the closeness. Even if she was using it to understand more, it wasn't like she was deceiving Mineichi, or at least she did not feel she did... she wanted to help him, after all.

"... Sometimes, yeah. It does feel that way. Not like I hear direct commands or such, but a push, a pull... a sense of feeling. Sometimes whispered words." Did he really hear the gaki whisper directly to him, making him do specific things?

[Bayushi Mineichi]

"I suppose, I suppose that's true." Yakumo could feel him swallow. "We hear these crazy stories about the Spider. How they make kids walk over coals, or hit them with bamboo canes, or leave them alone in the graveyard for the night." A soft chuckle followed. "I assume it isn't quite that bad."

"Mhmhm. I can't say I'd feel anything like that." There was a pause. "Unless I am.. uh.. distracted. Yes." Distracted was such a good word. "When I feel something strongly, I can feel a pull. Well, not really a pull. More a beast within. Urge to..." he pushed himself back a bit, his fingers tracing her curves, brushing over the spots where he had bitten her not too long ago. Marks, if seen, would make it painfully obvious just what she had been up to. "I feel this hunger of sorts."

That made her laugh, even bumping her head against his as she almost lost some control of her movements with the laughter. "Goodness, no," Yakumo chuckled, "we're not savages or living in the ancient times still. Sure, life is strict, and I think on some worlds, the Daigotsu might leave their children out in the graveyard over night, usually the day or week before they are off to the Family dojo, to let them face fear in a safe manner."

Which is why something like that was not done on all Spider worlds, and certainly not on her homeworld. When places were a hotbed for ghosts, you didn't want to needlessly tempt fate. "Children are raised strictly, but they are also fiercely protected from real danger." Like gaki, or worse. Kids playing rough or learning what the real dangers were was part of protecting them, because they learned that way.

As they shifted, she kept one hand on his shoulder, gently squeezing it as she felt the buildiness soreness of the marks. "... Hunger for what?" she asked, the words almost a whisper.

"What now?" Mineichi blinked, wincing as she bumped hers into his. "Oh, I see. Well. It's so weird." he mused, biting his lip. "It seems that there's more things uniting us, than things that make us different." His fingers, having found their way on Yakumo's rump were idly poking her, Mineichi perhaps even unaware of what he was doing. "I suppose I could see that. I mean, back at the academy, if you messed up badly, the sensei would make sure you'd remember what you had done, one way or another." He gave her rear a gentle pinch as if to show what might have happened. "But I don't think anyone was injured on purpose." Some mock combats had led to injuries with priest students studying near by being called to tend to the injured. "Hunger to devour. Hunger to claim." Allowing his hand wander back to her shoulder and down to her bosom, Mineichi trailed the red marks on her skin. "Hunger to savage." he chuckled softly, pressing his fingers more firmly against the likely slightly sore spots on her skin. "I am sure you could feel some of it."

Mineichi probably got the reaction he wanted as Yakumo made a soft exclamation of surprise in response to the pinch.

"Yes, I -ahh!--- I could..." it was hard to not gasp out loud as he pressed more firmly against the marks he had left behind. "I could feel it."

Her own firm hold on him tightened a little, letting him feel how the remains of their unrestrained passion effected her still as his prying fingers explored them further.

Her gasp brought a sly grin on his lips, though he did relent as soon as she yelped, adjusting the pressure as if not to hurt her any further. "I know..." Mineichi whispered, his voice now a little husky, his eyes capturing hers. "Trust me." Licking his lips, he allowed his hands roam all over her body once more, his touch now more intense than before as he caressed her, his lips finding hers as he drew her close into a passionate kiss, his teeth brushing against her lips. "Still?" he asked, gasping softly as he pulled free, looking a little surprised. "... here I thought you were done." She could see him smile, the older man clearly pleased with himself.

Her flushed face was almost answer enough, but she still made it clear by leaning in to him to claim a few kisses of her own. "... Just a bit more, before we part ways for the night," her husky voice spoke those breathy words, her hot breath noticeably against his skin that had began to cool from before. One of Yakumo's hands moved away from his shoulder, tracing the marks - new and old - along his arm until she found his hand to guide.

While this round would not be as intense as the previous one, it would be no less pleasurable and intimate.
