I've done a derp chara before. Some here know either or both of Miki and Tobi. I wanted Hinata to be different. A different kind of derp. And wow was he!!

I had originally envisaged him having a set of coloured voices in his head debating every so often, but I discarded that quickly as being too hard to keep going. I'd had enough issues making sure HYperfox spokewithnospacesbetweenthewords in Banner 3, so Hinata's 'signature voice' turned into beginning 95% of his lines with 'Oh'.

His very first thread set some things I kept going all game though. His outrageous femboi dresscode and calling everyone except ronin '-samaaaaa!!!!!!'.

The concert was really cool, but somehow, Hinata's DROP entrance gave me the most chills there!

Hinata was just a bit too naive to be true
At least in the minds of most samurai, i belive, like: "The crane wouldn't serioulsy bring someone dumb to court, would they?"

Loved watching Hinata here and there, though we only briefly interacted in the rocket fuel thread. Sorry-not-sorry if Hinata's singing voice is a bit rough after that party. I'm sure the staff nutritionist will get him settled in no time.

There's a definite throughline from hyperfox to Hinata.

What is Hinata actually taking home from this season? Or will the memories flutter away 10 minutes after the ship jumps?

I do regret not getting closer to Hinata, it was a nice picture in my mind: The classy busniessman and the flashy popstar ^^
Unfortunately the implementation was hard from my side (got covid, was blergh, could hardly post)

Is the Empire ready for Hanahime and Hinata to be the Doji and Asahina Daimyos? I don't think so. Not yet. We need a little more groundwork . . . like a H name Kakita and Daidoji Daimyo to match . . .

The simple answers. Longer answers, you may have noticed I avoided the main plots. I was invited to the Thim's Soshi plot but declined. I had expected there to be at least one other Crane in the game who could handle the ronin heist recruitment stuffs so I was a very unoptimal character for doing that. Still I almost managed to hire Yurei until the Scorpion outbid me.
