May as well ask, how did Akuta end up as a ronin?

Also, did anything come of your working with the Lord High Executioner?

Akuta's parents were workers on projects in the Spirit Furnace as independent contractors before it blew up and after the plant went critical and turned into the Desolation, he became an orphaned ronin.

Also: Not too much, but understandably so. Got paid a bunch of koku for lopping off the head of the Beast of Kinuran and sending it in and secured myself a spot in the final gaki encounter by being an acceptable casualty for the investigation team.

Oh, and before I forget: I know I shared it on Discord but with some players not being present too much there, I figured I'd share the template I used for my character background here. Enjoy and modify for your own purposes!

Thanks for hosting! I'm happy that the profile submission found a receptive audience! Writing normal little character blurbs is hard for the writer's block sometimes but if I find something I can do that breaks the mold a bit it helps.

Akuta seemed to have some interesting story going on with the Scorpion, and I think I must've missed most of it. How did he end up roped into going out into the Desolation?
