Weather

As the day dawns, the city is shrouded by ominous grey clouds. Yet by noon, warm northern winds have all but dispersed the clouds, bathing the diplomatic district in sunlight. By afternoon the temperatures climb almost uncomfortably high, the evening seeing samurai flocking to the many beaches of the city. The night is unusually warm with only hakusei gleaming on the dark sky.

Night Cat
This horror classic is set in feudal Rokugan, during the Clan War. After an ashigaru slays the enemy officer and he is promoted to samurai for his courageous act. His first duty from his lord is to investigate a mysterious grove where many samurai had gone missing without a trace. When he arrives at the grove, he is surprised by the hospitality of a gracious mother and her lovely daughter. Unbeknownst to the samurai, they are spirits of his mother and wife who have returned as malicious shape-shifting cat spirits who prey on samurai. The returned cat spirits struggle between their need for vengeance and their love of the man.
