A young Doji is shocked when she finds that her father has chosen to remarry and she finds herself at odds with her new stepmother. Wanting to distance herself from her family, she fashions an excuse to visit a remote holding owned by her distant aunt with a delegation comprised of all of her friends. They, unfortunately, get what they bargain for when it turns out that the aunt is a malicious ghost who devours unmarried samurai with the aid of her evil cat. As the delegation members attempt to escape the haunted home, they meet their gruesome ends one by one...

The movie is several centuries old and is considered to be a cult classic. It is known for its shocking and psychedelic imagery, all done with low-budget special effects. Supposedly, an ancestor of Bayushi Mariko started her career with this film.
