Non-Scorpion, non-ronin Characters are housed in their clan embassies. Characters unwilling to share rooms can book a suite either at House of Blooming Nightshades or at Kakugokuya. Scorpion characters not living at the province can stay at one of the dormitories at the Fifth Tower of the Kyuden Oborozuki
Scorpion characters living in Oborozuki province can use their status-appropriate housing for the duration of the game. Ronin characters are lodged in communal rooms of Shrine of Passion or Temple of Shosuro
