But seriously, sorry I wasn’t available for more open scenes, I usually love them. Toddler and RL meant I kept it really mellow and mostly didn’t do plot cause it went so fast.

I'm right in that spot (minus the toddler...just whiney work demands, which are nowhere near as cute). Kind of consciously set up to miss the plot because I knew I wouldn't keep up with things very well this go 'round. Keeping it very laid back really helps when the schedule is tight.

Not jingling the purse though, minor clans are a bit less well-stocked there.

Yes RL has been seemingly brutal on multiple fronts for many lately. I similarly had a rough month of work and it is just now beginning to slow in time for the game to end

Work wasn't the issue for me this time around, but rather other issues of mental health I've been tackling (with mixed results). But I've had a great time this game, and it's been a good thing to have there to challenge myself a bit in my daily life. It's easy to feel like I'm not doing anything or not succeeding at anything, so realising that I'm actually creating stuff when I'm writing here or getting that little hit of dopamine at a successful diceroll does help.
