Bed calls.

I would leave ghosting instructions in my PF with glee... But at this point, in absence of more information about what's happening, I don't really have anything to say except for the classic "Pew pew roll is 6k3/5k2" and "3 Void points, using them solely to reduce damages taken".
I'll make sure to have *something* posted before going to bed tonight. Hopefully not with only 3 people, but if that's what happens, so be it.

Does Dai have an idea of where some of these doors lead from past visits? Which ones would link together and which would be dead ends?

In past visits... I'll say you have been in a room reached through the first door to the left, then in a laboratory near one of the Training gardens reached through the door at the right of the far wall. Both doors are currently closed, and possibly barred.

The last time you were there with Sumiko, though, you were at a small lab accessed through a door in the corridor you see to the left. With Dai's absolute direction, I'll say you remember that the corridor to the left turns right, then reaches a training garden, and you'll also remember the room at the end of the corridor you can run through now is a large laboratory with workstations, a variety of bookshelves and benches for labwork and tables for meetings. You haven't been in the room itself, but you could see parts of it when going to the room you were in with Sumiko. With your spatial senses, you know that large laboratory is located between two training gardens.

To add clarity to my post - If Kiyoshi chooses to stay in the lobby due to helping the drakes Dai is posting up here:

Otherwise he'll be taking a rear guard position (and has Wary if ambush/flanking does come into play)

I can hold my position while still being able to shoot the big one (and maybe the small ones depending on where they move in terms of line of sight) to keep them from being able to circle and flank us.

OOC It sounds like if the big one doesn't get dealt with it might lead to others entering the fight - but Dai doesn't know that (stupid lore roll).

We'll see how the combat evolves before that, but the plan for now is to have Kanna pew pew at the biggest thing in sight that still has its attention on anyone but the PCs that can run.

Yeah down to 4k3 on the pew-pews so Dai, while not yet a liability, isn't going to be super helpful this fight. But he's not breaking and running (yet...)

Edit: Cleared up on the discord - was an error, but other errors made it all the same in the end. Yay complexity!

Offline for an hour or two. If my turn comes up please ghost.

Unless there's any big surprises between now and my action Dai has realized stealthing to the samples isn't going to pan out before the beats can eat the samples so he'll just fire. If he has line of sight he'll aim for one of the ones near to the samples, otherwise he'll fire on the big 'un.

Post-fear rolls: 4k3 fire, 4k2 damage

Is he ok with advancing a bit to get line of sight? OR keeping back?

Still only partly around so still feel free to ghost - he's ok with Free Action levels of movement to get better sight but is prioritizing shooting over moving.

My turn to be absent, for the next five hours or so.

Not big secret about ghosting instructions so might as well post them here so everyone can work with that:

Pew pew (6k3/5k2) the most dangerous monster in range whose attention isn't focused on someone who can defend themselves. In case of doubt, go for the one with the least wound ranks (so visible wounds), then the biggest.

Follow-up questions if you're still around:

- Will Kanna focus on protecting Kioku or count her as 'someone who can defend themselves'?
- Based on what you've seen so far, BIG CRITTER seems the most dangerous; Raven is probably the one that seems to have most visible wounds after being swept to the floor. I"ll let the other PCs decide on whether to focus on big or hurt, but if you want to leave more detailed options, please go ahead!

Ouch sorry, missed that before departing:
I would say that if she can still cast spells, she's fine enough for now.
BIG CRITTER seems good.

No worries - been afk for a bit too. May need to be longer as I'll likely be going to the hospital with my SO :/

Anyhows - Kanna's up!

Yeah. I shot at the hyena out of having read too quickly... out of strategy, but ghost Kanna will likely move back the firing toward the abomination.
