More questions about heists! (Because the gms love those!)

Getting some conflicting info from people, so wanted to check since it affects some of my scheduling

Question 1: How many times can a faction hire a ronin for heists? So far, I've heard both twice per session and twice per game, which...changes things depending.

Question 2: Selling the info. I've heard this a couple ways:

A) Whomever hires the ronin is the only person that ronin can sell that gathered info to.

B) That a ronin can divide it up however they like (though multiple sellers would trigger more Scorpion's trying to get you)

Really enjoying the heist mini-game, really cool and I hope th gms aren't too discouraged by the questions

I don't really care what you have heard. I care about what you have read. If you read contradictory information - you should link them for us so we can fix them. If you do not have contradictory pieces of text, you are making me (us) to do the work of trying to hunt something that you might or might have no imagined. This is not sensible use of time for GMs.

Saying that you have 'heard' comes off lazy and distrustful.

1) they pass the information over
or
2) when it's accessed, even if it isn't during that thread?

I assume they should let you know via a PF also - or can the thread be linked via the private thread in clan pfs when they get information and that count as the informing?

What is the difference between 1) and 2). Either the client faction is handed the information OR it is not. The thread where this happens (and there ought to be one, really) will trigger the roll against the ronin - I don't really care HOW they contact us - PF and post to GM Q&A is preferred.

Notably - and I am not sure if this is clear enough - Ronin selling information to any non-Scorpion faction will automatically trigger a roll akin to a character not hiding their identity while making an Espionage roll with GM's rolling 6k3 against TN 20 + (ronin's Rank in Lore: Underworld + points spent on Scorpion and/or underworld allies). The faction purchasing the information does not by RAW suffer any consequences.

I can't find anything for this so my apology if it is on the forum and I just missed it. Regarding experience spending, does a skill have to be used a certain amount of times during threads in order to be increased from 0 to 1? Do they have to be public threads if so - or can I state during spending that I dedicate X timeslot (and not use it or use it in an area that lets me use that skill) in order to have taken time to learn that skill?
