Remember that if you can't hire PC ronin, you can (once per session, up to twice per game) hire any ronin - including NPC ones.

Wardmaster takes a lot of skill to pull off. The nice thing about it is you're sitting in your room, just crumpling up misspelled wards rather than wiggling your fingers ineffectively in a combat situation.
