Well may as well work on the Shogi puzzle and see if we can lower the TN

So we have Crank at 30 and Shogi at 29

Work on Shogi? And if it completes early try crank? for (12-13) Then 14 and 15 for the main puzzle?

Note that the TN of the Gate cannot be reduced below 25, so there's little incentive solving both.

6k3 can knock a big chunk of of 29

I am pretty sure you did, otherwise I would have tried the Shogi. Moreover 29 is unlikely on 6k3 anyway, so the extra little bit was the safe bet
